Every River Organics product is designed with its end of life in mind. Makeup is packaged in paper push-up tubes and jars with sugar cane based labels, and orders are shipped plastic-free in recycled envelopes without extra marketing materials. Formulas are kept simple, averaging around 12 ingredients compared to an industry average of 47, and synthetic lake dyes are never used because of the harm they can cause to aquatic ecosystems. Products are made without water, which naturally extends shelf life, reduces the need for preservatives, and allows more concentrated products to be shipped with less waste.
