Co-founders Angie Tran and Bernard Law started Kind Laundry in Toronto after seeing a laundry aisle full of harsh chemicals and single-use plastic. Nearly 1 billion plastic laundry jugs end up in US landfills and oceans each year, and less than 7% get recycled. Kind Laundry's starch-free sheets use tea seed oil as a natural cleaning agent and contain no parabens, phthalates, phosphates, optical brighteners, or formaldehyde. Leaping Bunny certifies the brand as cruelty-free, and its sheets score a "0" on the Think Dirty app. The company extends its kindness to animals, too, and has donated more than 50,000 detergent sheets to animal shelters across Canada. Better Homes & Gardens named Kind Laundry its Best Eco-Friendly Laundry Detergent.
