In Chicago, Toad&Co partnered with Search, Inc. to co-found Planet Access Company, a warehouse that trains and employs adults with developmental disabilities. Since joining 1% for the Planet in 2013, Toad&Co has donated 1% of annual revenue to vetted nonprofits, with a focus on making the outdoors accessible to everyone. The company uses fabrics certified by OEKO-TEX Standard 100 and bluesign, and it committed to removing plastic-based product packaging by 2026. In 2025, Toad&Co became a Certified B Corp with a B Impact score of 87.4.
