Colored Organics
Colored Organics makes ethical, organic clothing for babies and kids and uses its sales to help children in need, from abandoned children in India to patients at a local children’s hospital. The Minneapolis brand works only with GOTS-certified farms and factories.

Colored Organics sells bodysuits, rompers, leggings, joggers, sleepwear, and basics for infants through kids size 12. Each piece uses organic cotton and water-based dyes that stay gentle on sensitive skin and on the planet.
Your Impact
Founder Amanda Barthelemy started Colored Organics to give families colorful organic clothing at a time when organic baby clothes came mostly in oatmeal tones. While researching factories, she learned that India grows most of the world's organic cotton, so she chose to work only with Indian farms and factories that earn annual Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) certification. GOTS sets strict rules for organic fibers, chemical use, and safe working conditions. Colored Organics audits every stage of production and states that only adults working by choice make its garments. Its dyes are free of AZO compounds and heavy metals. The company partners with organizations in India and at home, funding care for abandoned children and supporting its local children's hospital.
