Dtocs
Dtocs replaces paper and plastic single-use tableware with compostable alternatives, one plate at a time. The Oregon company also funds school tuition for children in India and supports the women who make its products.

Dtocs sells plates, bowls, charcuterie boards, to-go containers, meal prep containers, spoons, and straws made from naturally shed areca palm leaves and unbleached bamboo fiber. Each piece breaks down in 90 days, so hosts can skip plastic without giving up style.
Your Impact
Founder Pallavi Pande built Dtocs to make sustainable hosting easy and elegant. Its palm leaf tableware starts as leaves that areca palms shed naturally, so no trees come down to make it. Both its palm leaf and bamboo fiber lines carry USDA Biobased certification, contain no chemicals or plastic, and compost in 90 days, a claim the Compost Manufacturing Alliance has certified. Dtocs holds certification as a minority-owned business through the National Minority Supplier Development Council and as a Women-Owned Small Business, and it is a verified People+Planet First enterprise. Purchases help cover the $60 annual school tuition for children in India, support its women workers, and fund the Oregon nonprofit Greater Than PDX. Dtocs has earned a Gold Stevie Award for Women in Business and a spot on the Inc. Female Founders 250 list.
