King Arthur Baking
King Arthur Baking uses the power of baking to restore nature and build a more equitable world. Its 100% employee-owned team shares profits across the company and supports regenerative farming, food justice, and baking education.
King Arthur sells flours, baking mixes, ingredients, tools, pans, and baking classes. Each purchase supports the employee-owners who make them and the farmers who grow its grain.
Your Impact
King Arthur Baking has shared the joy of baking since 1790 and became 100% employee-owned in 2004. Every employee-owner holds a real stake in the company, and the company shares profits when it meets its financial targets. In 2007, King Arthur became one of the founding Certified B Corps, and it operates as a Vermont Benefit Corporation and a 1% for the Planet member. Its Grains for Good work supports regenerative farming practices that restore soil and natural resources. Through For Goodness Bakes, the company uses baking as a pathway to opportunity and empowerment. Its Community Giving program funds community-led food justice organizations with multiyear grants. King Arthur has also set 2030 People and Planet goals that hold it accountable for its carbon footprint and community impact.
