Your Impact
Co-founders Sam Mabley and Daniel Kim launched Yes Friends in 2021 with an ethical T-shirt priced like a pint in London, and customers bought more than 4,000 in the first month. Clothing carries one of the highest risks of modern slavery of any product, and the fashion industry produces around 10% of global greenhouse gas emissions. Yes Friends answers both problems. It pays a bonus directly to garment workers, calculated against Global Living Wage Coalition benchmarks and trade union targets. Its main factory holds Fair Trade USA and GOTS certification, and its latest T-shirts carry the FAIRTRADE Cotton Mark, which makes the cotton fully traceable. The brand also uses no animal products in its clothing.
